Overview

RFID labels combine a printed self-adhesive label with an embedded RFID inlay — a tiny chip and antenna — so each item can be identified and tracked wirelessly, without line-of-sight scanning.

They still carry a printed barcode and human-readable text, so they work with your existing scanners while adding fast, bulk RFID reading for stock-taking, tracking and anti-counterfeiting.

RFID Labels — FAQ

What is an RFID label?

An RFID label is a smart label with an embedded chip and antenna that can be read wirelessly, so items can be identified and counted without line-of-sight scanning.

What are RFID labels used for?

They are used for stock control, asset tracking, logistics and retail, where many items need to be scanned quickly and accurately.

Can an RFID label also be printed with a barcode?

Yes. RFID labels can carry printed text and a barcode as well as the chip, so they work with both RFID and traditional scanning.
